ETC tags from Serbia are now also valid in Croatia, and vice versa

From now on, drivers from Serbia will be able to use their ETC tags in Croatia. In the same way, drivers from Croatia will be able to use their tags in Serbia. Thanks to the new integration of the tolling system between “Roads of Serbia” and “Croatian highways”, ETC tags are now valid in both countries. This is another step in the expansion of the Toll4All regional system. The system connects several countries of the Balkans through a single platform for electronic payment.

Regional integration of tolls without waiting and currency exchange

Director of “Roads of Serbia” Zoran Drobnjak confirmed that the integration completed. He was also the first to test the system. Ivan Ribičić from “Croatian Highways” emphasized that this system will make travel much easier for the growing number of citizens who cross the border for work or tourism.

The Toll4All system started operating in July 2023, initially in cooperation with North Macedonia. After certain delays, Montenegro also joined the system.

Darko Savić from JP “Roads of Serbia” pointed out that passengers no longer have to stop at tollbooths. This will also reduce wait time in queues and remove currencies exchange. It is enough for driver to have tag from one of the countries. With it they will be able to pass through the four countries of the region.

Plans for further expansion of the system are already underway. Integration of the system should soon be done with Republika Srpska, while Greece is expected to join this year, which will be extremely useful for tourists from Serbia during the summer season.

As in previous cases, tags can be used in other countries only if they are in post-paid payment mode.
